Coach
          Tony Taylor     
 Head Coach      
           Tony graduated from
          Eclectic High School in 1969 (now Elmore County HS). 
          He began his football
          coaching career in 1974 at Clay County High School. He was the head
          coach of the junior high team. Tony also coached the defensive backs
          and running backs for the varsity. 
          In 1976, he moved to
          Stanhope Elmore as the offensive coordinator of the junior high team
          and defensive backs and was the wide receivers’ coach for the
          varsity. 
          In 1977, he made a
          career decision to move to the 6A classification, coaching defensive
          backs and running backs at Pelham High School. 
          He had the opportunity
          to move back home in 1986 when he became the offensive and defensive
          backs’ coach at Elmore County. 
          He came to us last
          year, 1999, after retiring from the public school system. He was the
          special team coordinator and also coached offensive and defensive
          backs. 
          In 2000, he takes
          charge of the Catholic Junior High team as head coach. 
          Coach Taylor is a
          tremendous asset to Catholic High football. He has over 26 years of
          football experience.
